Please be aware that we are scheduling out at least 4-6 weeks. We will schedule new clients on a first come first serve basis. Thank you!
It is our goal to provide the best care possible to all our patients. Due to the overwhelming demand for veterinary care, our schedule is booked at all times, which is why it is of the utmost importance to keep all scheduled appointments.
No-Show appointments, late shows of ten minutes or more, and cancellations less than 24 hours in advance are a detriment to other patients that require attention.
No Show Appointments Policy
A no show appointment is a scheduled appointment where the client does not show up or call to cancel the appointment.
New clients that do not show up for their first scheduled appointment will automatically need to seek veterinary care elsewhere and will not be able to schedule future appointments at Well Point Veterinary Service.
Established clients that do not show up for 3 scheduled appointments will be considered non-clients and will need to seek veterinary care elsewhere and will not be able to schedule future appointments at Well Point Veterinary Service.
Cancelation & Rescheduling Policy
New clients - If you must reschedule your first appointment, you will need to contact us as least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment in less than 24 hours, you will need to seek veterinary care elsewhere and will not be able to schedule future appointments at Well Point Veterinary Service.
Established clients - If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment in less than 24 hours for any three appointments, you will need to seek veterinary care elsewhere and will not be able to schedule future appointments at Well Point Veterinary Service.
Late Arrival
New clients -If you are more than ten minutes late for your scheduled appointment, this will be considered a failed appointment, and you will need to seek veterinary care elsewhere and will not be able to schedule future appointments at Well Point Veterinary Service.
Established clients- If you are more than ten minutes late for your scheduled appointment, you may be asked to reschedule based on our case load for the day. Please keep in mind that we are booking appointments out and may not be able to reschedule that appointment for a couple of months. If you are more than 10 minutes late for any three appointments, you will need to seek veterinary care elsewhere and will not be able to schedule future appointments at Well Point Veterinary Service.
Payment Policy
We require payment in full at the time of services rendered. For your convenience we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Care Credit, and cash. Please be prepared to pay your balance in full on the day of your appointment.
Prescription Policy
Please request all prescription refills 24 hours in advance (48 hours for controlled substances). This allots time for the doctor to review your pet's medical records, make any changes necessary, and approve the refill. Additionally, it allows for our team to fill the prescription for you.
For the safety of your pet, certain medications require blood testing and exams at specific intervals for your pet to continue the medication. For example, your dog must have an up to date, negative heartworm test for any heartworm preventatives (such as Tri Heart or Simparica Trio) to be dispensed.
To comply with federal law and best practice ethics, dispensing or prescribing a prescription medication requires a Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship. This means that veterinarians are required to perform a Physical Exam once a year, as well as have a relationship with you before medication can be prescribed or refilled.
Any prescription medication that has left the building, regardless of whether it has been opened, cannot be returned. All of our medications are regulated by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) and we are subject to the same dispensing laws as human pharmacies.
